Salt Rock

Salt Rock is built around a simple idea: do good work, do it properly, and build something that lasts.

The name comes from Salt Rock, a stretch of coast in South Africa where Cory grew up. It's where he spent his time surfing, learned to be patient with things that take time, and picked up a lasting respect for the ocean — and for working with his hands.

Since then he's spent years working across carpentry, renovations, construction and bespoke timber work. Salt Rock is the next chapter of that: a carpentry and craft business run by Cory, now based in Nambucca Heads on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

From Nambucca Heads we work across the surrounding communities — Valla Beach, Macksville, Scotts Head, Bowraville, Urunga and the wider Nambucca Valley.

We take pride in the details that are easy to overlook — the way something is joined, the way it feels when you use it, how it stands up to weather and time, and whether we'd be happy to put our name on it.

From a small repair to a complete renovation or a piece of timber made from scratch, the approach stays the same: honest advice, quality workmanship and a job done properly.
